membership discountDuring the month of June, the Oates Institute is offering the opportunity to become a member or to renew a membership in the Institute at a 20% discount making membership for 12 months only $96 (membership is regularly $120 per year). Members receive the opportunity to participate fully in the learning community including free registration for any of the online seminars and self-study learning modules, full access to the Oates Journal, access to the Center for Oates Studies, access to the online editions of Wayne Oates' books, and the opportunity to network with other members.

One of the key benefits of membership is connection with the learning community and the opportunity to register for online seminars for free (for non-members, seminar registrations are $60 per seminar). The online seminars are at the heart of the Oates Institute's programs as they provide the opportunity for joining with colleagues from around the country for learning events that meet ongoing professional and continuing education requirements without incurring travel time or costs. As a recent seminar participant shared, "I was somewhat hesitant to share at first but then took a chance and the experience turned out to be very positive for me."

As part of the learning community members may access the Self-Study Learning Modules at any time to pick up continuing education contact hours, or access the Center for Oates Studies with its growing collection of papers, interviews with Wayne Oates, photos, and online editions of Wayne Oates' books, or connect with other members of the Institute.

Oates Institute membership also provides full access to the Oates Journal, which addresses issues around spirituality, ethics, and health from a practice perspective for pastoral care givers and health care professionals. While some of the current articles and columnists are open to the public, the Special Issues and the archive of articles require member access.
