Peer Group Practicum

The Peer Group Practicum combines 60 contact hours of online peer group interaction concurrent with each participant’s field placement in the health ministry setting of his or her choice. Each participant is responsible for identifying a health ministry placement where he/she can serve for the 15-week duration of the practicum. The placement may be in a variety of congregational or clinical settings.

Online peer group interaction will utilize case study and personal reflection from each participant's ministry context. The participant/health minister will need to serve in a position that requires a minimum of 4 hours of service per week, in addition to the 60 contact hours of online peer group interaction.
