Tuition Fees

The tuition for this certificate is $860 per student.  The nonrefundable application fee of $35 is applied to the tuition for those who enter the program. The remaining tuition of $825 is due when a person registers to participate in a peer group. Until the tuition fees are paid, one is not registered as part of a peer group.

In addition to the tuition, participants will be expected to purchase books in conjunction with the core seminars.  These books will contribute to the building of one’s pastoral care library. 

Tuition is fully refundable up until two weeks prior to the start of the first seminar for the peer group in which the participant is registered. Should the participant need to delay completion of the program after this time, he or she may submit a one time request to participate in another peer group and apply the tuition payment to participation in that group (it does require starting the seminars from the beginning to be part of the peer group).

Scholarships

A limited number of scholarships will be available for the Pauline Oates Pastoral Care Specialist Certificate program, which are awarded based on financial need. These scholarships may cover as much as 35% of the tuition for the certificate program.  To apply for one of these scholarships for Fall 2007 certificate groups please complete the following.
