Developing Congregational
Health Ministries

SELF STUDY LEARNING MODULE

CEU Credit: 3.0 contact hours

Health ministries provide vital new ministry opportunities for congregations and communities. "Health ministries promote self-knowledge, personal responsibility, and interdependence among God's people," writes Dr. Maggie Miller. "In today's climate of uncertain availability of total health care, parish nurses and the church can play a significant role." This is the first of a 2-part seminar on developing health ministry approaches in the congregation. This Learning Module explores developing health ministry approaches within congregational settings.
