Children
at Risk for
Violence After Loss
October
9-27,
2006
Facilitator: Richard B. Gilbert, Ph.D., BCC.
12.0 contact hours
The recognition
that children grieve is a fact that society and religious communities
often overlook or avoid. Behaviors associated with unmet needs
of grieving children can become inappropriate and even dangerous.
Through
presentations and an interdisciplinary dialogue, seminar participants
will explore definitions, warning signs, and strategies for prevention
and response. Through this Connected
Learning process the group benefits by learning from one
another as well as from the presentations.
