A final example of the presence of the two healers in Renaissance art may be found in the Medici 's family funerary chapel at the church of St. Lorenzo, designed and decorated by the great Michelangelo. An architectural as well as sculptural masterpiece of the period, the tomb contains individual statues of the brothers on the altar wall (Figure 7).
